Mr. Uto Shinohara, CFA
Chief Investment Officer

Uto joined us in 2009 as Director of Research and has now taken on the role of Chief Investment Officer. Uto oversees continued investment developments in the firm’s model-driven currency strategies, focusing on risk control and investigating new areas of research. His introduction of additional short-term & scaling models into the investment process has enhanced our product offerings. Prior to joining the firm, Uto served as Vice President at AllianceBernstein for 14 years, contributing in the areas of quantitative research, business analytics, and portfolio management. Uto is a graduate of Cornell University, holding a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering. Uto is a CFA Charterholder.
